The Save Water Texas Coalition takes the Silver in the 2022 MUSE Creative Awards.

Houston, Texas April 15, 2022 – Winners of the Season One 2022 MUSE Creative and Design Awards has been officially released by the International Awards Associate (IAA). Having received over 6,000 entries from all over the globe, the MUSE Creative Awards and MUSE Design Awards were established to honor creative and design professionals for their excellence.

The Save Water Texas Coalition (SWTC) takes home the Video-Government silver award in the competition with their video, “Saving Water is as easy as turning off a light switch,” created for its Coalition partners.

“We are excited and honored to accept this award on behalf of our coalition partners”, says Russell Lambert, Co-Founder, and Creative Director for the Save Water Texas Coalition. “As in many areas around the world, the cost of water in Texas is going up and so are water bills.”

“The purpose of the video,” explained Barbara Payne, SWTC president, “was to introduce messaging to water users in Texas that would influence consumers and encourage them to associate the cost of water with usage”.

The MUSE Awards is made up of a series of competitions, which are open for participation worldwide. These awards are hosted by the International Awards Associate (IAA), in order to promote excellence in various creative and design industries by providing professionals a platform to compete against their peers.

“The team here at IAA was taken aback by the works we received for the 2022 MUSE Awards. The level of refinement and the depth of completion truly represent the best of the creative and design industries,” Thomas Brandt, spokesperson of IAA noted. “IAA commends all our entrants for their dedication to their crafts and may their unceasing passions further the limits of creativity and design.”

The Save Water Texas Coalition is made up of cities, water agencies, water professionals, community leaders, and educators across Texas who are dedicated to raising public awareness about the critical need for water conservation and water reuse measures in order to assure sustainability of our finite groundwater and surface water resources.
